After the Storm Homeowners Instinctively Say: DAMMIT TO HAIL

Licensing Model Overview— Exclusive Trademark Licensing One Contractor Per Market

Nature of the License

The license grants a qualified contractor the right to operate under the Dammit to Hail Roofing™ brand within an approved territory. The brand is used as a market-facing identity for services performed by the licensee.

Ownership of the trademark and all associated brand assets remains with the licensor.

Independent Operators

Licensed contractors remain independent businesses. The license does not transfer ownership, equity, or control of the licensee’s company. Each operator continues to manage their own staff, pricing, suppliers, contracts, and day-to-day operations.

All work is performed by the licensee under their own business entity.

Role of the Licensor

The licensor maintains ownership of the trademark, administers territorial assignments, establishes brand standards, and operates the national platform that identifies authorized operators.

The licensor does not perform roofing services, manage construction projects, or employ local crews.

Use of the Brand

Licensees are authorized to use the Dammit to Hail Roofing™ name and branding within their assigned territory for marketing and identification purposes related to services they independently provide.

Use of the brand outside the approved territory or in a manner inconsistent with brand standards is not permitted.

The license may not be transferred, sublicensed, or assigned without authorization.

Operational Responsibility

Each licensee is solely responsible for its own business activities, including licensing, insurance, compliance with local regulations, contracting, project execution, warranties, and customer service.

Customers contract directly with the local operator, not with the licensor.

Territorial Exclusivity

Licenses are granted on an exclusive basis within defined market areas. Only one contractor is authorized per territory while the license remains active and in good standing.

Specific boundary details are provided in the Territory & DMA Guide.

Program Intent

The licensing model is designed to deploy a unified storm-response brand across multiple markets while allowing each operator to remain locally owned and independently managed.
