After the Storm Homeowners Instinctively Say: DAMMIT TO HAIL

Exclusive Trademark Licensing —Requirements & Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications

This document outlines the minimum standards contractors should meet to be considered for a Dammit to Hail Roofing™ territory.

Because each license grants exclusive control of an entire market, approval is limited to operators capable of delivering professional service at scale.

Established Business

Applicants should operate an existing roofing or restoration company with a verifiable business presence. The program is not intended for individuals seeking to start a company from scratch.

Licensing and Insurance

Operators must maintain all licenses, registrations, and insurance required to legally perform roofing services within their jurisdiction. Compliance with state and local regulations is the responsibility of the licensee.

Operational Capacity

Major storm events can generate sudden, high-volume demand. Applicants should have the personnel, systems, and logistical capability to respond to multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or customer service.

Financial Stability

Contractors should possess sufficient financial resources to operate responsibly, manage project timelines, and handle the cash-flow demands associated with insurance-driven work.

Professional Standards

Licensees are expected to conduct business ethically and maintain workmanship consistent with industry standards. The reputation of the brand depends on reliable performance in every territory.

Local Market Presence

Familiarity with the requested market is strongly preferred. Operators should be able to serve the territory effectively, whether through an existing local presence or the ability to establish one quickly.

Commitment to the Territory

Because territories are exclusive, approval favors applicants who intend to actively operate in and serve the assigned market rather than passively hold rights without meaningful engagement.

Evaluation

Meeting these criteria does not guarantee approval. Each application is reviewed individually to determine whether the applicant is capable of representing the brand and serving the territory effectively.
